Telemarketing Guide
At Alliance Insurance P.S.C. (“Alliance”, “we” or “us”), we respect your privacy and your choice about receiving marketing communications. This guide explains how we contact you, what you can expect from our representatives, and how to manage your preferences or raise a concern that apply to any Telemarketing consent you give us.
How we contact you
Our telemarketing is primarily conducted through authorised agents who introduce and explain Alliance’s insurance products and services. This guide applies to marketing undertaken by our employees and authorised agents acting on our behalf, using only Alliance-registered phone numbers and official Alliance channels.
Marketing consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing insurance from Alliance.
Where you are an existing Alliance customer, Alliance and its authorised agents may contact you without obtaining separate marketing consent where the communication is permitted under applicable UAE laws and regulations. This includes customer-service calls, policy administration, non-promotional renewal reminders, claims-related communications and responses to your enquiries or service requests.
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by informing our agent or emailing opt-out@alliance-uae.com. Opting out will not prevent necessary, non-promotional communications relating to your policy, claims, or our legal and regulatory obligations.
What you can expect from our agents
Our agents must use authorised communication channels and telephone numbers registered in Alliance’s name. At the beginning of a marketing call, the agent will:
- 1. identify themselves and Alliance, and explain the purpose of the call,
- 2. ask whether it is convenient for you to continue, and permission before proceeding with call.
- 3. You will also be informed that the call is being recorded, for quality and compliance purposes.
Marketing calls are made only between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. UAE time, taking account of your preferred time within these hours. We limit marketing contact to once per day and twice per week, unless you have expressly requested follow-up about a specific product or service, or assistance with your queries
You are free to decline an offer or end a marketing call at any time. Our agents must provide clear information without pressure or misleading statements, and must not make further marketing approaches about a product or service you have already declined.
Managing your preferences and opting out
You can withdraw your marketing consent at any time, free of charge and without affecting your insurance coverage or rights.
To stop receiving marketing communications, you may:
- 1. Tell our agent during the call.
- 2. Email opt-out@alliance-uae.com, specifying the telephone number and/or email address you wish us to exclude from marketing.
Opting out of marketing does not cancel your policy or prevent necessary, non-promotional communications concerning policy administration, claims, service requests, or legal and regulatory requirements.
Do Not Call Registry
You can register your UAE mobile number in the Do Not Call Registry (“DNCR”) by sending “DNCR” to 1012 from the number you wish to register, or by using your telecommunications provider’s DNCR service. Follow your provider’s instructions and check the registration confirmation.
Alliance shall not make marketing calls to numbers registered in the DNCR or to customers who have opted out of such calls. DNCR registration is separate from recording an opt-out directly with Alliance.
